1. Did you date someone from your school?
I dated guys from my high school until my junior year. Then I quit dating high school guys. My nickname was "21 ID" because I didn't date anyone younger than 21. They had money and nicer cars. Plus, they weren't as desperate to get into my pants. ;o)
2. Did you marry someone from your high school?
No way, no how.
3. Did you car pool to school?
I carpooled with 2 friends. I usually drove.
4. What kind of car did you have?
My first car was an orange Pinto. I totalled it. Twice. My second car was a silver Camaro. I. Loved. That. Car.
5. What kind of car do you have now?
A Dodge Nitro. Yes, it's an SUV. Don't judge me. It snows here 6-8 months out of the year!
6. Its Friday night…where are you now? Either watching a movie with Bill or playing on the computer.
7. It is Friday night…where were you then?
In high school? Working. Then driving around, getting into mischief.
8. What kind of job did you have in high school?
My first job, I was a carhop. Then I worked in a fast food restaurant. I had to quit because I was allergic to the dye in the new uniforms. Then I was a waitress at the local truck stop. I loved working there. It burnt to the ground one night. Finally, I was a checker at a local grocery store.
9. What kind of job do you do now?
I do Payroll for Small Town School District.
10. Were you a party animal?
Umm...yeah I was.
11. Were you considered a flirt?
Umm...yeah I was.
12. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
Nope. I was too busy being naughty to participate in wholesome activities like that.
13. Were you a nerd?
Nope.
14. Did you get suspended from school?
Nope. I did however get paddled once for spitting in a boys face. He'd been shooting spit wads into my hair throughout class. Finally I'd had enough and spit in his face. Of course THAT was the only thing the teacher saw.
15. Can you sing the fight song?
Nope. I don't think I ever did learn the words to that song.
16. Who was/were your favorite teacher?
I graduated in 1981. I can't remember the names of any of my teachers.
17. Where did you sit during lunch?
We had an open campus, I left for lunch.
18. What was your school’s full name?
Chick@sh@ High School.
19. Where did you party the most?
Anywhere and everywhere. In the summer, usually at the lake. In the winter, at the park.
20. What was your school mascot?
Until a few years before I began high school, our mascot was the Fighting Cock. They changed the name (for obvious reasons) to the Fighting Chick. The mascot remained a rooster however. Go ahead and laugh. We did and I still do when I think about it.
21. Would you do it again?
High school? Yes I would. I'm one of those strange people who had a GREAT time in high school.
22. Did you have fun at Prom?
I enjoyed my Junior Prom. I didn't go my senior year, because my boyfriend was...10 years older than me. (I told you I was naughty!)
23. Do you still talk to the person you went to Prom with?
Not recently. He and I were engaged and I broke up with him because of his drinking. A few years ago, he hunted me down to "make amends" as part of his treatment. It was awkward, but very cool.
24. Are you planning on going to your next reunion?
I doubt it. I haven't been to any so far.
25. Do you still talk to people from school?
On Facebook, a few times.
26. What are/were your school’s colors?
Purple and Gold. I remember, my Grama decorated by bedroom in those colors. It was the coolest.
