It's the LAST day of the school year!
I finished folding and stuffing the checks at 4pm yesterday!
No school employee was harmed in the process of these payrolls.
Because I'm chained to my desk and cannot leave to slap anyone silly.
Yesterday I did a quick run to urgent care because I thought I was getting a sinus infection.
Not only do I have a sinus infection, BOTH my ears are infected to.
The doctor delivered this news very professionally. She said "Oh my! You're a mess!"
This put the previous days into perspective. My headache and fatigue were not due to stress.
I wasn't a crabby witch, planning the demise of those around me.
I was sick.
I should be back to my happy go lucky self in a few days.
Today I'll deliver 200 checks.
Then I'll go back to my office and begin the next payroll. When that is finished, there will be two more. These have to be finished by the 10th.
THEN, my summer will begin!
