Happy Father's Day!
We're not planning anything special today. Shelby & M are coming home from camp later this afternoon.
Bill has been craving homemade fried chicken. The problem with that idea is that HE's the one who cooks it. When she lived with us, my Grama taught him her recipe.
I explained that it's Father's Day, but he still wants to make it. I won't argue with him. I mean after all, it is HIS day. He gets to do what he wants to do.
I'm selfless like that. ;o)
Tomorrow summer begins for me.
I've already begun one of my summer projects. We keep files of terminated employees in our office. I'm purging out the files of those that have been gone for 5+ years. It's completely mindless and I LOVE doing it. When I'm finished, MH will purge all of employees who left last year from our current files and I'll move them into the terminated cabinet. Yay! More mindless work. I'm all about mindless in the summer.
We haven't been camping yet this year. (Puts hands to face and begins to weep quietly.) When the weather has been nice enough to camp, we were too busy. Hopefully we'll go next weekend.
And almost every weekend until September.
